I started photography in 1975 when I was in the Army. Shortly after starting, and at the urging of several friends, I entered contests which, to my surprise, won blue ribbons / first place in several categories. Shortly afterwards I was approached by another friend asking if I would shoot her wedding. That started "Photography by Jim" and now almost 30 years later I have taken over 250 weddings and several thousand scenic photography slides and pictures. I still prefer the traditional way of shooting with film. I have started experimenting with digital and I am impressed with the higher quality cameras At Karen's request, and with careful consideration, I am again "hanging my shingle" for photography. This time, I feel the urge to offer something different. Check back in 2005 to see "what's new." In the meantime I still offer traditional services for weddings, parties, special occasions, and school pictures. I'll gladly send you a price list upon request. I have included several of my photographs for you to review. I have a store at www.cafepress.com/togkas which provides these photographs as postcards, note cards, pictures, mouse pads, and other products. |
