A couple of years ago Jim wrote this just after Valentines day. I asked that he enter it in a poetry contest and he was published!
Words You Love to Hear
I just wanted to say to you,
the words you love to hear.
The ones that come from my heart,
that tell you I am sincere.
There are millions of different ways,
to tell you how I care.
Words that say to you,
I always will be there.
Nothing that I would change,
of everything that you do.
All of them add up to be,
the person inside that is You.
From no where in my life gone past,
has there ever been one like you.
Someone who is kind and sweet,
and gentle as a springtime dew.
Nothing is sweeter said,
than words that come from up above,
The words that will always echo,
it is You that I love.
