Custom Handmade Baby’s Baptism/Christening Gown.
Calling all Grandma’s & Mom’s ... this is not a kit nor a chart! Provide me with your baby’s age, approximate height and weight, and I do the rest. I’ll handmake your baby’s gown in Dupion Silk with all embroidery done by hand.
The symbol on the top of the gown is the traditional baptismal shell and includes your baby’s initials. Below the empire waist is a satin stitched cross with rose buds surrounding it. Completing the embroidery are The Trinity symbol of three circles including a candle, a baptism shell and dove.
This gown was made for my precious granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Weaver, on the occasion of her baptism. Everyone said she looked like an Angel ... and she is!
