1971 HUMMEL PLATE "HEAVENLY ANGEL" #264 MIB
This is the highly sought after First Edition Hummel Annual Plate "Heavenly Angel". The plates in this series was first called a "Christmas Plate" then later changed to Annual Plate. This first plate was made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Goebel. Plates had not been produced by them prior to this. There were a fewer number of these plates made for this year unlike the plates made in the years to follow. The plate is 7-1/2" in diameter with the number 264 on the back and the 3-line mark. The plate is in mint condition and has never been displayed. It has been kept in the original box all this time that is lined with styrofoam. The box does show signs of wear and two corners are split on it but it is the original.
